About Me
I'm Sousana Ekladious, MA, LMHC.
I am a bilingual licensed mental health counselor in Florida, providing online therapy for teens and adults, including expats, immigrants, international students, and culturally diverse individuals. With a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and over 5 years of experience, I specialize in supporting clients navigating cross-cultural challenges, identity concerns, chronic anxiety, and life transitions. I have worked with clients from more than 25 countries, giving me a deep understanding of the emotional impact of living between cultures, navigating complex family or community expectations, and finding a sense of belonging and safety.

One of the most meaningful parts of my work is…
creating a space where clients feel seen and understood without having to over-explain their background, culture, or family dynamics. I value moments when clients begin to feel grounded, connected to themselves, and able to relate to their experiences with clarity and self-compassion.
I specialize in working with individuals who...
-
are navigating identity and cultural challenges, including living between cultures
-
struggle to find a sense of belonging, safety, and emotional security
-
experience chronic anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm
-
feel pressure to meet the expectations of family, culture, or community
-
are adjusting to major life transitions while trying to maintain stability
-
want to strengthen their sense of self, personal agency, and emotional resilience
My therapeutic approach is...
integrative, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s needs. I draw from Psychodynamic therapy, Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Strength-Based and Multicultural frameworks. I also use EMDR for trauma processing when appropriate. My work is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, focusing on building insight, identity integration, and emotional regulation.
I may be a good fit if...
you are looking for a therapist in Florida who values depth, cultural context, and emotional safety. Many of my clients want therapy that balances insight with practical skills, honors their identity and lived experience, and respects their pace. My goal is to support you in understanding yourself within your cultural and personal context, rather than asking you to separate from it.
